Abstract: With the promotion of international trade facilitation and digital products popularization, the trend of international trade digitalization is inevitable. Digital trade goes beyond the narrow definition of e-commerce, and changes the way and the object of international trade. Intellectual property protection plays a more important role in promoting digital trade. At the same time, lack of intellectual property protection and weak law enforcement will become the real barrier to digital trade. Faced with the new development of intellectual property protection rules in digital trade, China should be prepared for both trade rules and intellectual property rules, and deal with regionalism and trade protection measures of digital trade at the legislative and law enforcement levels.
